The staff of Beymer Memorial Preschool & Kindergarten is delighted that you have visited our web site. It has been our privilege to serve this community through our Christ-centered early childhood education program for 35 years. Since 1974, we have provided a quality start for children and families. Some of the children currently in our preschool are children of graduates from years ago. We won't say how many years. Please feel free to browse our site for information.
Our Philosophy and Purpose
It is the philosophy of Beymer Preschool and Kindergarten that each child is a unique creation of God and as such has intrinsic worth and an inherent need for love. In the preschool setting, children can experience God's love in an atmosphere which will foster each child's development - spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. As a mission of the church, the preschool is a ministry in which we live out the Gospel, laying the foundation for Christian growth and development.
- Preschool - serving children from 2 1/2 to 5, the curriculum uses a developmental, thematic approach. It promotes all phases of the child's development by providing a rich learning environment filled with fun, hands-on experiences. Our themes integrate literacy, math, science, art, music and movement. These themes are explored within a context of interesting, meaningful activities in a positive and loving environment.
- Kindergarten - We offer a half-day Kindergarten program. Our curriculum is similar in scope to that of the public schools. Upon completion from Beymer Kindergarten, students are able to make a smooth transition to either a public or a private first grade class. In addition to our certified teachers, we have a teaching aide who enables us to offer our children the highest level of individualized attention.
